Billy Bishop Airport is Canada's ninth-busiest airport and welcomes 2.8 million business and leisure travellers each year. As our main hub, the majority of our routes begin from here. The airport is also Canada’s sixth-busiest airport that offers passenger service to the United States.
Ottawa MacDonald-Cartier International Airport:
Located in the south end of the city, 5.5 nautical miles (10.2 km; 6.3 mi) south of downtown Ottawa, it is Canada’s sixth busiest airport, Ontario's second-busiest airport by airline passenger traffic, and Canada's sixth-busiest by aircraft movements. This airport is our second largest hub and a focus city for Porter.
Halifax Stanfield International Airport:
Halifax Stanfield is the 8th busiest airport in Canada by passenger traffic. It handled a total of 4,316,079 passengers in 2018 and 84,045 aircraft movements in 2017. This airport serves as our gateway to the town of Stephenville and the city of St. John.
Thunder Bay International Airport:
The newest addition to Porter’s list of official crew bases, Thunder Bay International serves as a focus city for the airline. Currently we only have one route to and from this airport, but we are hopeful that Porter will use Thunder Bay to expand its route network westwards and potentially even add new jet aircraft to its already growing fleet.
