Need some assistance? We’re here to help.
So, welcome to our helpdesk. Here, you’ll be able to view frequently asked questions and their answers, along with some tips and tricks to make your VirtualPorter journey that much more exciting. Before that, we strongly suggest you view our latest VA guide PDF, which contains almost everything that a new member will need to get started. That can be found on our #documents channel on the Discord server (with the latest edition always pinned), or on the ‘Office’ page. It’s also available in the IFC acceptance message, which would’ve included a quick how-to guide to get settled in the VA. As always, you could also direct any enquiries to our members or staff!
FAQ 1: How am I able to find our routes and flight schedules?
|
To view all the destinations we currently fly to (mainline, special routes and codeshares), head over to the Operations sections of our website and click on the ‘Where we fly’ page. You can also see our route map network. As for flight schedules, go to the Careers section and click on ‘Dispatch’. The first page would be where our flight schedules and general flight briefing (flight number, default FPL, altitude, etc) pages are located.

FAQ 2: How do I log flights and earn hours for the VA?
|
The process of selecting a flight to logging them is very simple and straightforward once you’re used to them. Head over to the ‘Flight schedules’ page and choose the Porter hub to depart from. From there, you’ll be redirected to a page where all flights heading to/from that respective hub are visible. Take a brief look at the general details of the route and head into the specified equipment for that route! Once you’ve landed, go to the ‘Log a flight’ page and fill up the required details, following the formatting. Then, submit a verification image onto the #verification channel (read channel descriptor on Discord for more detail). Once it’s approved, you would’ve earned some hours and PDplus points!

FAQ 3: What are PDplus and PDgold points?
|
PDplus and PDgold points are part of our newly introduced rewards programme. For each and every flight our members successfully log, they will earn 1 PDplus point. These points can then be used to purchase the seasonal PDplus pass, which allows members to spend these points and climb ranks to earn unique perks and rewards. Some offers and events may boost the number of points earned per flight. On the other hand, PDgold is a more luxurious programme - these points can only be earned through attending events or completing difficult special offers. They can be used to purchase very exclusive items such as limited edition rank badge designs, nicknames and more. You can view how many points you’ve earned on your pilot roster profile!
